Johnson Okoro

I am Dr Johnson Okoro. I completed my residency training in psychiatry between 2013 and April 2019 at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Enugu Nigeria, and was awarded a post graduate fellowship degree of the West African College of Psychiatrists.

I have a masters degree in Health Management, and an MBBS first degree from the University of Nigeria.

I worked as a locum consultant psychiatrist in Neuropsychiatric Hospital Enugu Nigeria in 2019, and as a specialist psychiatrist in Eradah Mental Health Hospital, Jazan Saudi from October 2020 to September 2021.

I am currently back to Nigeria and work as a consultant psychiatrist in the Nigerian Correctional Services.

In all the places I have worked I have had the responsibility of attending to all psychiatric cases at the A and E, wards and clinics.

I am also an author and I have published four research papers in the field of psychiatry.
