I obtained my BSc (Biology & Psychology) degree at Stellenbosch and thereafter completed my BA Honours in Psychology at Cornerstone Institute. I also volunteer as a lay-counselor at Hopehouse Counselling Centre - Tableview.
I completed my BSc (Biology & Psychology) at Stellenbosch University (2017-2020) and despite the covid pandemic, I managed to graduate. In 2021, I obtained a BA Honours in Psychology at Cornerstone Institute. I am also a lay-counsellor at Hopehouse Counselling Centre (Tableview) where my duties include counselling adolescents and teenagers suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, suicidal ideation etc. I have a passion for working with people and making a difference in our communities, especially in terms of mental health which is often overlooked. I believe that counselling, should be a collaborative process in which the counsellor works together with the client in an empathic manner to reach a common goal in therapy.
